Happy Easter

HAPPY EASTER!

I hope you all had a great Easter celebration with friends and family.  This year was fun for me because all of my grandchildren were walking and able to participate.

Because of other obligations and time constraints, this year we had an Easter Brunch at Oma and Opa's house.  Not quite the production of a full-blown dinner, although I probably should have started just a little earlier, the meal preparation was basically pretty easy.  Recipes on Pinterest were very helpful.

And then of course there was the Easter Bunny.  He knew 5 anxious little ones would be here, so he dashed in and left candy-filled eggs in the backyard, and then was gone in a flash, leaving only his paw prints as evidence he was here.  (Another cute idea I saw on Pinterest.)

Easter baskets were filled to the brim with candy and goodies and I even made bunnies and chicks for all the kids.  The kids loved the chicks' feathers.

All in all, it was a great day.  Time now for me to put my feet up and maybe take a little snooze.
