It's Cool to Be Square Blog Hop

Are you enjoying this hop as much as I am?  It is so wonderful to see all the creativity out there.

Hello!  Today is my day to share with you my contribution to the It's Cool to Be Square Blog Hop.  It has been a trial lately because my computer has been out of order for awhile and then my sewing machine decided not to stitch.  Why now, right?  But everything seems to be in working order again, and I'm excited to show you my project.

A big thank you to Carol of Just Let Me Quilt for hosting yet another great hop. During this very serious pandemic we are all experiencing right now, it is such a relief to have something pleasant to think about. Thank you, Carol, from the bottom of my heart.

For my project I made a postage stamp quilt.  What could be more square than that, right?  I found this cute cat quilt on Pinterest and decided to make one, too.

When sewn, the individual squares are 2” and the completed quilt size is approximately 36” x 40” -- perfect for a wall hanging.

I had some cute cat fabric for the back, and finished it off with a black fabric binding.

Jack decided he needed to put those kitties in their place, and claimed the quilt for his afternoon nap.

This was a really fun project to make. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my project. Be sure to visit the sites listed below for some fun and creative inspiration.
