I think this is such a fun design and the red work goes quickly. At first I was going to use different colors of red floss, but changed my mind when my local stores did not offer much of a selection and chose to use only DMC #666, a cheery Christmas red. I'm not sure I'll have it finished in time for Christmas, or if I even want to make the complete quilt. I was thinking, just this first section would make a wonderful table runner for the holidays. What do you think?

Christmas Red work
Lately I have had an itch to stitch. I think it's leftover from Madame Samm's Superpower Challenge. I am also in the mood for Christmas, so I bought the Crab-apple Hill Winter Wonderland red work pattern and have started stitching at night while I watch television. (Mainly I stitch while watching my husband's chosen selections, since he hogs the remote control.)
